Treadmill Training in a Motivating Environment
Ovation is a treadmill system with dynamic body-weight support and fall protection for patients up to 700 pounds. The Infotainment Display is mounted in front of the patient and provides important training metrics and an engaging experience.
DualArrest Fall Protection
Ovation is equipped with DualArrest Fall Protection, ensuring a secure experience by automatically stopping the treadmill upon detecting a fall. The customizable distance for preventing a fall ranges from 1 to 10 inches, providing flexibility according to individual needs.
Dynamic Body-Weight Support
Ovation can offload a patient’s weight with dynamic body-weight support making them feel up to 300 pounds lighter. Adjustments to the level of body-weight support can be made at the touch of a button by pounds or percentage to modify the therapy intensity.
Infotainment Display
The Infotainment Display, positioned in front of the patient, enhances the therapy experience with an interactive and engaging session while displaying important training information. The clinician can set quantifiable and motivating goals such as calories burned, distanced walked, and walking time. Virtual walks, rotating images, and static vistas can be chosen for the patient to view as they walk on the treadmill.
Slat-Belt Treadmill
The walking surface is comprised of rubberized, shock-absorbing slats which are designed for long-term durability. The treadmill can be inclined for walking uphill, or reversed for walking downhill.
Launchpad
The Launchpad is used to assist patients with embarking and disembarking from Ovation. The Launchpad has a 1,000-pound capacity and smoothly raises and lowers between the treadmill and floor to assist those using a wheelchair to easily access the treadmill.
Accessories
Therapist Seating
For those who anticipate performing manual assisted treadmill training with their patients, seating may be added to Ovation. The seats and footplates are adjustable to fit most therapists’ preferences.
Heart Rate Monitor &
Pulse Oximeter
For high-intensity training, therapists can set a target heart rate range in the Ovation software. If the patient’s heart rate moves outside this range, Ovation will notify the thearpist with audio and/or visual alerts.
